There is a wide range of optional construction materials for internal Seats, Balls and Diaphragms to suit your applications, a Graco Pump will handle your requirements.
Flow rates
Graco Pump Maximum flow rates vary from 18.9 litres per minute for the 1/4″ pump to 568 litres per minute for the 2″ pump.
Effects of viscosity and suction lifts on flow rates
Double Diaphragm pumps are affected by the viscosity of the fluid being pumped and the distance from the pump to the fluid source on the suction side. As a general rule, bigger Double Diaphragm pumps handle higher viscosity fluids and longer suction lifts than smaller pumps. The 1/4″ pump is suitable for very light duties only, such as those found in laboratories or for dosing, while 2″ pumps will happily work in rough and tough industrial transfer applications.
When to use Double Diaphragm pumps
Double Diaphragm pumps are designed for volume transfer applications and are usually unsuitable for very viscous products or where there are long pipe runs and high discharge heads to overcome.
FES can supply special pumps for working under these more difficult conditions. If you are unsure which is the best pump for your application, call the experts at FES.
Air valves
Graco have developed very reliable air valves with the number of working parts reduced to a minimum.
Spares
Spares for wetted parts are available in a variety of kits for convenience when replacing wearing parts in pumps.
